Shanae is dual certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and family nurse practitioner. She is board certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) as well as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (PMHNP). She began her training at Mercer University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued her education obtaining a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Georgia and received a Post Master’s certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Augusta University. She has experience treating patients throughout the lifespan.
